DAB help!

I'm an Absolute 80's listener and the current station is changing to a new version. So if like me you're still tuned to the old,I keep getting a reminder to retune. Although I can't see a way to retune.

I have "station follow" selected. Which according to the handbook should update old for new stations. But no such luck.

Can anyone offer

I'm still using the old link as the new link is miles further down on the scroll wheel. Hoping that it just replaces when the old link finally dies?

Other than than, no help at all, sorry

My fave channel too, showing our age....

If you list all the DAB channels it should be in the list, check the national list, once found it press and hold a number to save it..

Worked for me.

Planet rock changed recently. There were two listings of the station in the list but one was preceeded with a "z" (zPlanetRock). I noticed the same applied to other stations.
Just select and save the new one remembering to delete the old one from your favourites.

PS I've noticed occasionally Planet Rock drops out. Just goes silent for a few seconds. Has anyone else experienced this with other DAB stations?

Yup but I don't save the stations to buttons, just use the scroll on the steering wheel to flick thru & change stations, usually when the ad's play!

Both old & new show currently. Use new as nearer to the other stations I flick between.

I don't use the buttons to store either. Interesting you have both. Must be an area thing.

Guess so.

Have you done radio, then turn the wheel to scroll to the top and choose all ensembles? Might throw up some more stations?

If you get the Stations list up on screen, I think 1st block is all BBC Radio stations, then next is National where A80's Old is, keep scrolling down and I found A80's New in local station block.
Hope that makes sense.

Still not seen it on mine, only 'old'.

I don't use the shortcut buttons for radio stations as it seems such a waste, but I'll be sure to add 'new' to my saved station list as soon as I see it in case it disappears again.

I've also noticed SAM FM digital station is no longer available.

I actually tend to use FM more often as I'm not particularly taken by DAB sound quality. Am I missing something?

DAB's the new medium wave. Shite. I think it works well on stationary radios. But in the car (BMW) it's pants.

Cheers for that - at least it's not just me.
