Extreme Powerhouse pre LCI 40w angel eye issue

Installed these, and they look great. However, there is not nearly enough room to make the ballast, and wires etc fit in the back cover for the angel eyes. What gives? Is there room to stick the ballast up in front of the angel eye? Because there is no way that thing is fitting in the cover.

You might have to modify the back cover like I had to with my headlights. Drill a hole that is big enough for the grommet on the wires to slip in and pop that's grommet in.

That's my plan at this point. I'm not overly impressed with how bright these are, looks better than stock but in direct light they're barely even white looking. I'll drill a hole and grommet it for now, since I don't feel like dealing with a return or another install
