Weird Noise after inlets installed

Installed turbo inlets on my 335is went with MMP to stock air box routing, sound only happens when i let off the gas when under high boost, not sure if running a bigger vacuum hose from throttle body to BOV will fix it or maybe its the DCI.. any suggestion or input would be nice,

Sounds like a normal BOV to me...

Depending on which BOV you have, the connection to the throttle body is likelier smaller than the one on your BOV. You can tap the hole in the TB (I recommend reading about it first) to make it bigger for a shorter lasting *whoosh*

after the pshhhh blow off, it's a weird noise, hard to explain, I'm about to try a bigger vacuum line and see if that works

If you are running a Tial to the stock inlet that may be the issue.

I have HKS.. I changed the vacuum line from manifold to BOV, little more responsive yes, but I threw my stock air box back on and it fixed it, so if anyone else has this problem it's your DCI that make that weird noise

yeah I wish that backlight was lit more :/ but nope it doesn't chirp when shifting, only letting off the gas when boost is built, how does she look tho for FBO and e85? stock turbos

Wish I had e85 up here in Reno :/
I have everything lol, And BQ custom tune.. 70% e85 I'm in vegas 😁😁 and no it's doesn't woosh then or now between shift ls only when I let off the gas but I guess the DCI with inlets made it sound weird

Looks good!

Btw, I knew a guy who had the second whoosh and his problem was the connection to the manifold being smaller than the connection to the BOV. The intake might have something to do with it, I really don't know. Just my .02

it started after my inlets were installed, come to find out it's just the DCI, I put the stock air box back on and it sounds fine, I'll leave it for now and do a custom intake with the stock box

It's the BOV due to extra air flow from inlets. I would not put the stock box back on and restrict flow compared to your DCIs, just adjust your BOV by adjusting the spring rate in it to make it right.

You can't open it to get to the spring and shim it with washers or cut the sprig a little?
