BMW E90 LCI Style Rear Tail Lights
Hi Guys,
I was thinking of getting some of these rear lights just to update the rear end of the car, does anyone have any experience using / installing these? eBay CLICKY Will I need to get the car coded, or is it pretty much a straight swap? I have a 2006 E90 330i saloon. I saw a car on Autotrader which I think uses the same ones and they look pretty sweet. |

They do look good. Ad says plug and play with no errors. You may need to disable warm and cold checks however in the footwell module to avoid flickering. But if they are good quality then you might not even to do that.

I'd personally go for the first lights shown on the black car, they look far more classy. Just my opinion 😉. That black car looks oem with those lights and mv4 wheels. Looks like a cool ride.

I've got darklines on my E91 which weren't cheap. If I was on a budget I would just get some red tint film and tint the reverse light cutting out a small rectangular section for the reverse light.
If I were to do it again I would go down a full LCI conversion if I could find a matching colour tailgate.

Only reason I prefer the other ones is they make the car look standard without faffing about with changing the boot lid. |

i dont like the darklines, they look a bit weird, like a clear lens, with black inside, rather than a smoked lens?
Those tinted ones are on german ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2714399176...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

Have you considered the hella white line, they provide a nice pre Lci upgrade. They look oem and smarten the tailgate without trying to imitate the Lci.

I was looking at these lights when looking for rears but when i looked i could only find the inner lights to have 1 light bar, instead of 2 like the one in the pic. Pretty crucial point i think.
Only issue i found was with most aftermarket lights, the side lights don't wrap all the way round the cluster. Looks a bit odd in my opinion. Went for genuine dark lines in the end. |
