Yes there is a lot of threads on this. I want current advice. My car has been walnut blasted. And is up to date on all maintenance. I have stock DP's and FMIC. If I go with JB4 I could go to MAP1 or MAP5 for a less aggressive tune. Is there a less aggressive MAP for the MHD so I don't end up overheating until I order my new FMIC.

So my car is basically stock.
-On 91 Octane
-DCI
-Walnut Blast
-New Injectors & Coils
-Stock FMIC
-Stock DP's

I just don't wanna push my car to much and mess something up. I know that with the MHD people push around 18-19 PSI. I don't track my car but do go to BMW meets from time to time and push my car to the limits.

MHD pump maps... you only hit 188-19 PSI if you floor it
Drive normally until you get your FMIC installed and you shouldnt have a problem

Boost on its own does not mean much ... MHD hit more boost but way less timing

Both (JB4 or MHD) are safe for a stock car

Thank you. How safe is it to run MHD on a stock car with nothing but stock IC? Just don't push it to much basically?

Both are great platforms. I am very happy with MHD. I had JB4 and back end flash, but the drivability was too rough. The mhd flash, the car behaves more like oem.

Jb4 with the back end flash as well as the jb4 connect kit. It's a great setup. I can log and see my gauges as well as my ethanol content on my phone all via Bluetooth.

So why did this kids post count not change?

Anyway... I chose JB4 for its continued support and simple install. My first performance mods were JB4 and BMS charge pipe.

Long story short we did like 4-5 races from a dig and rolls, after the last roll I get to about 135MPH and "Engine Reduce/Malfunction" came on. I pulled over to the side turned of the car waited like 10 min and turned it back on and it was gone. I drove it normal the whole way home but decided to floor it again to see if it would show up. Got up to 95MPH and nothing appeared. Now my question is what am I looking at for cost and fixing? What could this mean? Could it be an injector/coil? Temperatures stayed average so that was not it.
Oh yea I've heard of Denver, Mexico...that's the vacation hot spot with the nicest resorts where all the F1 drivers go during the off season right

For some reason I decided to turn off the car and just turn it back on to see if it still said it, after 15 minutes or less I check the oil again and it says that The car is at a good level. I am probably going to take it to BMW soon and see what it is do you guys know what it could be? And to make it clear the picture I posted is how it looks like now. Before that it said car needed oil. I'm only 19 my budget is kind of tight any ideas of what it could be

And how does this guy have time to drive to 'Mexico' from Denver when he's busy hanging unnecessarily and non-deservingly obscene M logos everywhere?

Because he probably screenshotted them at the same time, meaning if bryandjp didn't post anything within the window the dude screenshotted them, the post count wouldn't change.

All I know is OP is full of shit. I've called him out before as well.
