335i e91 Rear brake discs, pads and handbrake pads

£500 and something for a set of brake pads and discs fitted at BMW???

Out of interest, which pads and discs do people recommend for a 335i e91?

I'm quite happy using genuine discs if anyone has a good source for buying them.
Or is there a cheaper alternative which is just as good/better?

Was thinking genuine or Yellow stuff on the pads?

Last time I did this on a 335i it was something like £190 for the pads, disks and handbrake shoes (from local motor factor, Pagid or Brembo OE spec) and an hour and a half to fit it them (£90) so less than £300 all in including vat.

For rear pads it wont make much difference what brand you chose the they are not working very hard anyway unless you spend all your time driving on track.

Yeah that's a good point. I'll go with Pagid and save my bucks for the fronts when they go.

I'd stay away from Pagid if i was you. Only 4-5 months ago I had my rear discs and pads replaced because of a seized caliper.

Indy said he'd fitted brembo pads and discs. Have now found out that the discs are Pagid as i'm getting severe brake judder and had them checked by a different indy.

Now looking at spending another £200+ to get it sorted despite them being new parts.

It's 100% not worth the risk. Get parts by a brand like Brembo.

Does anybody have the part numbers for a n54 2007 335i? Eurocarparts just lists the car as a 3ltr petrol. I imagine the parts are a little different to a 330i?

Rear pads
Rear Brakes
Handbrake shoes
Wear sensors
