Living that far north I would get them back on asap and maybe think about putting the summers back on in July and the winters back on in August

For us living and driving north of The Wall keeping summer tyres on for all of two months is something we only can dream of.

We had a lot of hail yesterday that turned the roads white for a time. Great fun in the middle of nowhere with my summers and sport +

I can report that Newcastle had no snow and a fairly wet night not requiring winters at all. If you really must live in the mountains .....................

What about a house move?

Why? I can take any perfect storm of snow and blizzard that's thrown at me - with or without winters - I've got a shovel
