Upper radiator hose o-ring

Hi,

I have a 2006 330xi. I did the oil filter housing gasket today but I ran into trouble connecting the upper rad hose to the oil filter housing. The old o-ring is really swollen and is not even close to fitting back in. I did tried to search for a replacement o ring but all I could find was the whole new upper rad hose. I did see someone on the e46 forum found SAE replacement size o-rings. Does anyone know the size o-ring I need for the upper rad hose to oil filter housing. It would be great to be able to get it at the hardware store.

Thanks a lot!

Todd

Just had to replace my lower rad hose o ring because it started leaking after a aluminium radiator install. Couldn't find just the o ring and ended up buying a whole new hose for half the price of the dealer at advance auto (vaico brand). They were able to get it for me next morning. Just an option if you can't find just the o ring.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely be calling around tomorrow to see if I can buy a hose locally. I Live about 40 mins from any autoparts store so I usually Amazon prime autoparts. I do have a great hardware store within walking distance. Even though we're in the boonies they somehow have an astonishing assortment of o-rings and I'm sure I can find one that fits my needs there but they aren't open on Sunday...and unfortunately I missed my window today.

Couldn't find the proper size O-Ring anywhere yesterday... not for lack of trying. I just ordered a new Upper Rad Hose. Should be here tomorrow. Thanks!
