M2 dilemma

Hi guys..... Theoretically speaking if I was soon to be taking possession of a fully loaded M2 bit did not want to keep it for too long..... What do we think the value of them will be like seeing as you can't get one until mid 2017 now....

Theoretically, whatever someone is willing to pay for it

About £3-4k perhaps ontop, someone will be willing to jump the queue if its the right size car for them.

M3/4 deals are the only thing that can hurt the M2 re-sale price right now.

I'm not convinced the M2 is going to be the cash cow the 1M was.

I suspect for the first 6 months or so you might see them changing hands at a small premium but long term I doubt it will perform any better than an M3/4.

I'd say be careful - I have a feeling the odd M2 will be available.

I've just been to collect an X5 for the weekend and been half way offered an M2!

There was a BMW car in the showroom - they were playing with it and the sales manager reckoned he could secure it for me.

Seems the M2 didn't make that much on the dyno according to this, although it was only running 91 octane fuel. 287bhp

This. Not really a limited supply run like the 1M. I think they'll increase volumes a lot soon.

Yup. They've already said they'll build as many as there is demand.
