My personal opinion is that it's tacky.

Things like these can be put on to an extent, yes they look nice, but don't start to put things on a bmw just to make it look "cool". Keep them they look nice. Just don't start putting too many tacky things on the car, like M sport stickers/logos, stickers on the windows, don't make it sound like a fart can, don't add a crazy ass spoiler, don't go paint the colour of your rims like blue or red, etc. If you want to upgrade the look of your car in a nice classy/sporty way you can purchase M tech front and rear bumpers to give you that more aggressive look, you can wrap your roof in a nice black so it looks nice, you can buy a lip spoiler, you can change interior lights to LEDs, you can upgrade your halo lights if you have em to white colour like LUX's, etc. Just keep a reminder that you don't want to overdue things and make yourself look like a ricer lol. But overall man have fun with your car and take good care of it.

I have those too! out of all the mods to my car everyone always comments (all positive) on the door lights. My Range Rover comes stock with them so I decided to get them for my 335 and never regretted it.

I dunno, I'm on the fence with this one. I don't see why I would be greeted with a BMW logo when I know I'm getting in one. On the other hand, it does kind of cool but eh, it's not for me.
I do like what BMW did with the G11/12 7 Series though. It's a simple illuminated light "carpet" of sorts. Not too over the top and in your face, but looks nice. |

I have them installed on my car and everyone that sees them compliments me, I got them on Amazon for like $15. I would say go for it because even if you don't like it it's easy to go back and they're cheap.

Word to the wise though, I got them on Amazon for like 20$ and it came with 2 sets of replacement projector lens (which is why I bought them on Amazon) because after around 6-8 months the projector lens that make a BMW logo will burn out and get a cracked look. It's easy to put in the replacements, all you need is a flat head or your key.
