OBD2 wireless transmitter

I have DashCommand on my iPhone 6, with a wireless connection to an OBD2 transmitter. In principle, it is great, but it often has trouble connecting to the transmitter.
I am wondering if anyone can recommend a reliable OBD2 transmitter that has worked for them. The one I have now was very cheap to buy and that may be the problem.

The brand name is Ikkegol and it comes up as CLK (I think, too lazy to go out to the car and check)

I bought this one and it connects every time, it also has auto shutoff. It also comes with software to trouble shoot when your car throws an error.

I got one like this, but from a different seller (probably ebay) http://www.gearbest.com/obd-diagnost...eJ0aAi948P8HAQ

Works great with Torque Pro. I had to set the right protocols explicitly to make sure it connected (probably more app related than adapter related).

There's a huge sticky thread in the Navigation and Electronics forum on this topic.

If you have an iPhone or iPod, you'll have better luck with Wi-Fi as opposed to Bluetooth. I got this adapter and use it with an iPod Touch and Dash Command. I like this adapter because it has an auto-sleep feature as well as a power switch:

Not sure if it's the same one you have, but I have had good luck with mine. Connects quickly and I've never seen it disconnect.
