Mtec V3 Greenish Tint from e92-lighting.com
Sup Guys,
I recently purchased a set of Mtec V3 Led Angel Eyes from e92-lighting.com found here, https://www.e92-lighting.com/bmw-ang...-angel-eye-v3/ After installing the driver side angel eye i noticed the light appear to have a greenish tint. Has this happened to anyone? I have purchased Mtec V3 LED Angel Eyes twice before for my former e90 and current X5 both sets omitting a pure white light which is what encouraged be to purchase the same set. There ad also states "SUPER WHITE". However after seeing the light output on these i have to say i am completely dissatisfied with this set. Please take a look at the pics below and let me know your thoughts. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

From experience, if you're getting a varied color from an LED, it's most likely that it is damaged.
Did you touch the actual LEDs when you were doing the installation? |

Might be time to get your eyes checked! Try removing them and reinstalling? Might just be a connecting issue. I know when I put mine in they looked odd and I think I flipped the wires on the back and it fixed the issue. GL!

"SUPER WHITE" is a relative term. "Bin" will tell you the exact color temp of the LED.
A single model of LED diode is sold with different "binning", meaning different color temps. Unless the MTEC AEs specify a particular "bin", you'll get whatever the manufacturer had in their hands while producing the product. |
