Cheap Golf R DSG Hearse Lease

Just had this emailed. Good deal for anyone......

Personal contract hire, £2400 deposit and £179.99 a month all in. Not bad for a £34K car.

However fast it is its still bloody ugly, and £280pm once you have amortised the deposit across the period.

Who needs a big brash flashy car, understated is the way forward, and the 4 exhausts make the Golf R very understated

£280 a month for 24 months is £6720 total cost - I think less than £7k over 2 years for such a car is good value. You could lose more than that on a Polo!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I like the looks (more with the 19s and I think it is very colour sensitive) but I struggle with the 4 exhausts (as 2 are apparently fake on the estate!).

Agreed, some people must want it for nothing.

That's cheap for a 5 second car!
Probably need to wait at least 6 months though.

Apart from that I don't fancy one unused exhaust on the each side.

At least one exhaust will keep nice and clean.

It's a great deal. The % cost versus car price is far better than you would see if you bought.

Whether you think the car is good is another matter.

Somebody somewhere will like it.
But they perhaps don't want to admit it on this forum.

Agreed, less than £7k seems decent value for 2 years motoring and, while the looks may not be to everyone's taste, there's no doubting the dynamic ability of the Golf R. If I was in the market for a practical estate that's also good to drive I'd consider this offer quite seriously - the Golf estate probably has similar carrying capacity to a 3-Series Touring and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't get anything interesting from that range for the same outlay!

Same deal with solent it seems unless this is that deal? If you want less bling not a bad deal for the 1.6 but only 5k a year - good for supermarket runs and city driving.
