Oil Pan Gasket and Radiator Leaks
Hi All,
My 2011 328i is 77,500 miles now and has been reliable for the most part. I have a roughly 100 miles round trip of commute every day on highways. This weekend, however, the oil plan gasket and radiator leaked. Thanks God I bought the extended service package so both items are covered under that plan. Now that the two big items are resolved, my question is are there anything else that I need to pay attention to, either as preventative maintenance or fix later on as the miles increase? Thanks a lot for all your help! |

I have a 2011 328i as well with lower mileage (44k). Most of the driving is city - short trips - start and stop.
I just had the OFH gasket and the OPG replaced under extended warranty due to leaking oil - a pretty common issue on these engines. So that maybe something to look out for as well. Other item that has high probability of failure is the water pump. |
