6 Disc Dvd Changer Installation Help!

Dear all!

Can someone please help me to decide and guide me in the right direction as to which method of connecting the power cables for the DVD changer is better?

The DVD power cord comes with 3 wires
1) Constant power (B+)
2) ACC power (ignition on power)
3) Ground

Method A:
1) Connect the constant power to the positive terminal of the battery directly.
2) Connect the ACC power to one of ACC IGNITION ON fuse slots in the fuse box
Pro: DVD CHANGER will retain its memory functionality
Con: DVD changer might drain the battery in the near future (was told numerous horrible stories about cd/DVD changer drain out car battery.

Method B:
1) combine/join both ACC POWER/CONSTANT POWER and connect them to the positive terminal of the battery
2) Install a 2-way switch (on/off) in between DVD AND the battery so that DVD changer remains power off mode when not in use.
Pros: Will not fear that my battery might be drained out one day
Cons: loss of memory functionality

Really need your advice/opinion on this!
Thanks for reading my post

Method A for the win. Mine has been installed since 2012 and never run the battery down. Besides you should tender your battery now and again if you don't drive your car often enough.
