335d cutting out under load , no fault codes ?

Hi guys it started doing this today , under load the car completely dies I let it come to a stand still select park the remove and re insert the key then it starts fine until I boot it again . No codes are stored I had a quick Google and came across a couple of threads the same that turned out to be a faulty crank sensor ? What are your thoughts ? Any help is much appriciated .

Cheers
Rob

Crank sensors don't always give codes and will cause the engine to die, they are usually worse once the engine warms up for some reason as well

Removing the key resets everything so sometimes if you try cranking after its cut out before removing the key you may be able to get it to throw a code but also check the battery connector in the boot it can also cause it and it's a know issue

Ecu's often a bit silly with the crank sensor. If the signal vanishes it will simply assume the engine has stopped. And if its stopped, it clearly shuts off the fuel etc. It doesnt consider it a fault, because its a normal possibility, you might have stalled it for instance.

The real question is why the signal only vanishes with you use full power... Maybe the engine moving around and pulling on the wires?
