However, to answer the OP's question, I believe 370whp is about where the blocks started to come apart on a few cars...

the N20 is not meant to be pushed hard ... You can easily add a tune, Downpipe, intercooler,etc... and make this car very fun to drive

But stick to the recommended maps

So true...if you really want to make HP, go get the N55! It's amazing what an additional 40hp makes in that car though!
