NYIAS

Hey guys I lucked out on getting a dealer pass to the NYIAS last night. It was fantastic, MBUSA knows how to party for sure. I was a bit disappointed BMW had nothing like they did, MB had three bars, live music and it seemed to be the center of attraction of the show last night.

Otherwise in my opinion the cars at BMW were just to die for. The new B7, M760i, M2 and M3 competition pack looked stunning. Enjoy the pics, I know they're not the best quality, but it should give you an idea of all the eye candy at the show.

In my opinion the highlights of the show and the vehicles I was most impressed with are the following:
- new Alpina and M760i, if I were fortunate enough to be spending $150K on a vehicle, I don't know which I'd choose
- new M2, what can I say, simply amazing. My buddy had to pry me away from the car after gazing it for 20 minutes
- new X4 M40i, in person looks much better than in pictures
- new Jaguar F-Pace, every other mid size luxury SUV should be on alert, its beautiful and offers lots of luxury
- new LC500, it looks like a super car and is priced just right I think
- new GTR, talk about breathing life into an old dog, the updated styling and power make it every bit as relevant today
- new Nissan Armada, finally after almost 13 years we have an updated Armada, bang for buck it'll be HARD to beat
- new C63 AMG coupe, GORGEOUS, it looks better than the M4 in my opinion (never thought I'd say that EVER)
- new GLC, the X3 has it's work cut out big time
- new Miata, at $30K I don't think there's a sexier car, period. Everyone should own one if you're a driving enthusiast
- new Focus RS, I sat in it and immediately fell in love. I even contemplated selling my 997 TT for one (yikes)
- Cayman GT4, simply sublime and it has a shifter feel BMW couldn't make if the entire company depended on it
- new Camaro ZL1, for $60K you can get a 640 HP sports car. We are living in GREAT times.

The 240Z belongs to Sung Kang (Han from F&F and has a naturally aspirated RB26 with ITB's)

I stand by my comment, if you like cars, you need to at least try a new Miata. It's too good.

I knew it look familiar! Awesome thanks for the info.

And I did try the new MX5 last year, was ok but found it still lacking in power.

It does lack the power, I agree 100% but it is incredibly fun. For $5K more you can get into a Focus RS though and that's just insane
