E90 335 xdrive catless dp install cost?

Hey guys,
So I have a 2009 335 sedan with xdrive and I'm wanting to soon purchase vrsf catless downpipes. I understand that with the xdrive, they are a bit more of a pain to install then the standard rwd. Just wondering how much it is for install, and where the best place is to take it??

Indy or exhaust shop should do it
Takes 3-4 hours

FYI, My Indy has done many RWD installs and can do it in less than 3 hours. It took him 11 hours to do my AWD DP's and Inlets.

With a good mechanic it should only take 2-3 hours. I could probably do it in 1.5 hours if I had to do it again

I have seen some take 6 hours on RWD

Haha holy lord boys, so it varies depending on the mechanics experience it sounds like. Takes either 1.5 hours or 11 haha, why is a all wheel drive so much harder then rwd?

Book time on catalytic converter removal is 5.5 hours on an xi. That's what I would charge. This is also the reason I haven't installed my meowless pipes. No real gains for the time invested. I may do them when I do my Hexon inlets if I can't sneak the back turbo silicone inlet on all sneaky like.

There is no room at all on the AWD, so it is a bitch to work on. That is why I had my Indy do it. Keep in mind the 11 hours included the Inlets, so it would be much less for DP's only. I think he said probably 5-6 hours for the DP's only.

I see you got the same year car as mine. Yeah I guess so hey, idk I might not get them then. I was gonna do catless downpipes with the performance exhaust, but maybe I'll just put vibrant resonators in place of the second cats and muffler delete.

AWD is not bad with a lift just have to lower the subframe. Like I said if I had to do it again 1.5 hours

I installed mine on my e92 335xi by myself and I'm by no means an advanced mechanic and it took me about 3.5-4 hours all said and done. I freaked myself out a bit reading horror stories but it really isn't too bad. A mechanic should be able to do it in 3 I'd say.

Took me about 4-5hrs to do my downpipes and cdv.

Depends on if your bolts are rusted or good shape. I cant recall if Canada uses salt on roads I had mine done in 3 hrs but shop said they have done XI that took 5-6 hrs. Either way its worth it for the sound, throttle response and also you will notice how much faster the turbos spool at any rpm.

I jest got a 2010 335i and still have my 09 335xi and I am taking my vrsf downpipe off the Xi if so I can sell them to you I had them for about 5k miles when I installed them I had to drop the subframe and disconnect the steering rack from the subframe and the engine mounts it was a pain but I got it in like 3-4 hours. On my 335i it only look me like 1 1/2 hours so much easier then the Xi.
