Fade on with eBay led halo rings?

will all led replacement rings fade on/off like stock? I have led bulbs in stock location and they do but I'm wanting to get the "Dtm" style ones. I seem to remember that some rings didn't but can't remember if it was the CFL ones or led.

Depends on how they are driven.

If they are using constant current drivers, no.

If they are using cheap vreg/resistor setups to drive the LEDs, then yes.
