Is my car pre-LCI or LCI?

I just got my e92 335i and keep seeing those 2 options and have no idea what one I have. My car is a 2010 model.

Pre-Lci. It would have taken you 2 seconds on Google to find that out.

LCI E92 is 2011 and above.

LCI is Life Cycle Impulse.. It's a body refresh of a particular model.

so all e92 are prelci? I thought 2010 was the last year of the e92

You just answered your own question. LCI coupes (E92) are 2011 and up
Production did not stop in 2010. Cut off for E92 was either 2013 or 2014.

Your car is LCI; for E90/E91, LCI was MY2009+.

There area few quick ways to tell the difference between an E92 Pre-LCI [Life Cycle Impulse] and an LCI.

I'll start with the differences across all trim levels. First off, the headlights and tail lights are different. On the left, you'll see Pre-LCI equipment, and on the right you'll see LCI equipment.

It is a relatively simple process to upgrade a Pre-LCI E92 with LCI tail lights, as the trunk and rear fenders have not changed (though the bumper has). However, upgrading to LCI headlights is a huge task. You need new fenders, a new hood, a new bumper, in addition to the new lights.

The bumpers (for both standard and m-sport trim levels) have changed as well.
