Excellent.

It's a shame we don't get too many of these days but I suppose that's what makes them extra special

Enjoy John! Our move to Sutton Courtenay is still in process, albeit that the legal work takes forever, but will give you a shout when we are moved and you can take us for a spin.

What a day! I wish I took better pics but here are some for now.

Goodness, what a car. It is a wonderful, comfortable car. It drives beautifully and the ride is serine, quiet and so comfortable. I kept to the standard 19" wheels and road noise is minimal, 70 mph is a whisper, the engine, although new is smooth and linear, the interior is a masterclass in 'how to build a car'.

Nothing I have owned previously comes close to this car completeness, love the ride height too. Lots of options ticked, HUD, Pan roof, heated rear seats, wheel, comfort seats, 7 seats, adaptive LED (which gets the LED front indicator, oddly without this option the X5 has a amber turn signal bulb! Yuk), speed limit display, comfort access, HK and a few other bits.

Ordered 31st Dec 15, 12 week delivery.

Salesman in the pic, Gary, nice chap.

The colour is Carbon Black in M Sport clothes, and as it's a blue/black colour I removed the shadow line rails and window surrounds from the spec and replaced with the individual matt aluminium option. I think it creates a good contrast.

This weekend I need to polish the car, and wax, and drive!

Nice motor, think you're going to enjoy that

Btw, is that the Mrs in pic #5? Looks like she's thinking "What is it with men and photos of cars?"

That looks very nice indeed. Good move to go with the matt aluminium rails and window surrounds too. Enjoy.

Some motor!
I assume you have a second one for visits to supermarkets and town centres etc as I would be terrified of parking that beast anywhere

Yea but what's with the massive wrinkles in the leather? I had an X5 with comfort and another with Nappa but they weren't like that.
