Folding Rear Seats Option 465 - Golf Clubs!

I have a 430 M-Sport with option 465.

Does this mean that the seats fold? If so how the hell do you fold them?!!

The real reason for asking this is because I am wondering whether it is possible to fit 3 sets of golf clubs into a 4 series coupe.

If the 3 sets were pencil bags I am hoping it might be possible!

Have a look here - this pic shows the release lever in the boot - one each side.

Without any folding seat options; the Coupes fold 60/40

I thought only Gran Coupe rear seats fold as standard. OP doesn't state what variant of 4 series he has....

Depends on the size of the bags I would have thought - you might be limited by height more than anything - although two bags side by side with one on top should fit.

Only one way to find out..........

If you take out the woods and lie them on top, would they not get in even without folding the seats?

I'd be pretty confident I could get them into my F30.

Obviously will depend on the size of bags, but I can only get 2 bags in the boot of my F30 (with woods removed and placed on top)

I'm sure you'd get 3 sets in with the 60% side seat folded though

The coupe - the sporty, less practical car that you accept maybe has less boot space - has folding seats as standard

The saloon - the more practical car, bit more suited for families who might need to carry large loads sometimes - no folding seats as standard

BMW logic ladies and gentlemen.

As above with a nice protective blanket over the folded down seat

I can get 3 people plus golf clubs in my 4 series. I have to take drivers etc out of the bag and lie across the top of the bags.
