Brake disc mark

Quick question. Noticed a thick-ish line on front brake disc (passenger side). M sport brakes.

Caveat this thread by saying the brakes are working fine, not squeaking at all, no noises or rattles as if stones trapped anywhere so all seems ok.

The line between my badly drawn red outlines caught my eye as it looked like sort of thing I assumed you might see if you'd been braking and there was say a stone or something trapped in there but there's no noises suggesting that's case.

Could be just something that happens as new brake discs and pads bed in maybe lines like that come and go during that process. I should say car only has 450 miles on clock.

Anyway just thought I'd ask as I'm no brake expert and I was curious if this was just part of the brakes wearing in while so new or something I need to get checked. To be fair when I look closely at pic you can see lots of similar lines this one is just thicker and it caught my eye.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Nothing to worry about, the pad material is made up of different compounds, so small pieces of harder compound will make those lines.

Ta! Good to know. I've never looked at brakes that closely. Only noticed these as I find the msport brake caliphs quite nice to look at so noticed yesterday whilst cleaning the car

As said, perfectly normal, depending how much heat you put into the brakes can make these marks appear or disappear.
