H&R lowering springs

Is there anyone who have seen something from H&R yet?

Think I'll have to try out lowering springs first before ordering expensive coilovers.

Thoughts?

After seeing it IRL, it's not going to need much of a drop.

I think all M cars comes with too much height as standard. Maybe 20-30mm down to earth and it will look so much better. Even more aggressive

Having seen in I don't see how there is much need to lower this car. The wheel wells are filled quite well. For me to mess with anything suspension wise I would go all the way and do coilovers versus just springs. From all I have read the car handles great as is so I tend to leave good handling cars alone.

Im thinking the same. Some lowering springs before pulling out 2k on the coilovers.

I wouldn't do that if they were free. Why not run m3/m4 springs. It's a completely different suspension

Any update on this? I want to get a set of springs on order so they are here when my car arrives. The H&R sports for the M4 are in stock and ready to go but just want some reassurance they will work.

Even if they fit physically (which they probably do) they are not made for the weight and weight distribution of the M2 so why bother?

well...because there are no other options for springs right now that I can find. the weight difference isn't that much, significant, I am not sure?

I know you have the m-perf coils but I really don't need them for what I do or plan to do with my car.

I am totally open to opinions though..

Yeah, they are way overkill for my purposes too but I didn't want to compromise.
But H&R are usually quite quick to release the products so I would rather wait a few weeks for the real deal. It might even be the same springs, but for instance the F30 gets different springs for 6-cyl engines and 4-cyl engines even though the US importer only imports the 6-cyl springs. That is why the 328 isn't as low up front.

gotcha, I understand I may be jumping the gun a bit. just in that span of time waiting for it to finish production and head this way. I want to make sure I have everything I need to make her look "presentable"

don't get me wrong, I want the coils, just want so much more right now!!
