Quick help with wheels needed!

Trying to swap my winter wheels but I can't get the first one off!? Bolts out but it's stuck fast. Am i missing something?

Help would be appreciated! It's on the Jack now.

If pulling the wheel hard doesn't work then i use a block of wood behind the wheel and hit hard with a lump hammer or mallet.

The alloy will have corroded around the hub.

Best to use a rubber mallet if you have one and a block so as not to damage the wheel and rotate it as you go. Although try not hitting the wheel at first maybe just a gentle tap to the tyre wall will shift it. You notice that it will gradually start to come off patience is the thing. Don't try to bash it off it one go as you can damage the wheel.

Wire brush all around the hub & put copper ease on after & make sure that the inside of your summer wheels are not corroded where the hub sits & they'll be fine.

Some people have said that they get rust coming through the centre caps. So if you have the time when the wheels are off, remove the plastic hub caps and clean out all the rust in there (it's only a hollow in the casting) then copper ease it or similar& put the caps back on. Preventative maintenance!

Thanks guys!

Loosened bolts a little and lowered the Jack slowly. Popped off and then jacked back up. Was only the near side rear that was a problem.

You can see the corrosion that caused the issue here... (If the pic works).
