M-Performance styling/aero kit - F31

Hi all

A few questions about this:

1. I take it this must be ordered from dealer?
2. Exactly what does it include?
3. What would I need to specify to the dealer?
4. How much are the parts?
5. How much should I expect they charge to fit?

This is on a new, yet to be collected F31

Thanks

I had a price on the F30 - can't imagine the 31 is much different

£1200 inc vat for the full aero kit, £1500 fitted

That is
- front splitter
- side sill extensions
- side sill vinyls
- rear diffuser
- rear spoiler

That's discounted with BMW as a kit - I was quoted £1150 for the parts separately, minus the diffuser, which is a £300 part on its own

The f31 has a bigger spoiler? So might be a bit more money

I was quoted the following for the parts (local dealer's prices and then bmminiparts.com prices in brackets).

Front Splitter - 51192291364 - £404 (£344.25)
Black Grille (Left) - 51712240775 - £39.58 (£33.64)
Black Grille (Right) - 51712240778 - £39.58 (£33.64 )
Decals - 51192240983 - £81.67 (£69.42)
Rear Diffuser - 51192291418 - £366.67 (£311.67)

My local dealer quoted £979 to supply and fit just the grilles, decals and front splitter (un-painted), so that was £526 for the parts and £453 for labour!!

Didn't take them up on that offer, will probably go the bmminiparts.com route and get local coachworks guys to paint/fit grilles, front splitter, sill extensions and possibly plain black decals without the M Perf logo on them. On my list to do along with the detail and MPPK

To save any messing around, strike up a deal with your dealer based on the best prices you can find, and ask them to match it. They shoulld match it considering you have just bought a car from them. Everyone gets the M performance parts at the same price, so i don't see why they shouldn't do you the same deal as everyone else is offering if it is working out more expensive with your supplying dealer. I think i payed around £1500/1600 supplied and fitted for full kit including the rear upper tailgate spoiler colour coding.

Mine was fully painted by a BMW approved body shop.

I paid £2223.12 for the full exterior kit (splitter, side sills, side stickers, diffuser, spoiler & exhaust tips). That was the fitted and painted total cost.

The paint cost was £720 so just over £1500 for the kit.
