There a few videos with the mppk on and it sounds a bit too rough from the outside but not too bad inside so I am not convinced. The extra bhp is noticeable looking at the acceleration videos anyway but at 3 plus thousand pounds its a bit steep!

For me the factory fit exhaust sounds just fine to me. Not sure if there is just a tune available.

Could perhaps settle for a M perf Exhaust with black tips for a fraction of the full fat MPKK price. Standard car comes with plenty of power to be used on the public roads. A little more drama coming out from the tailpipes could be interesting though.

Not from bmw you have to buy the full kit for the remap. Lools like its still too early for remaps on the 340 but beta piggy back devices are popular in the states and are giving a fair whack of power.

Nice to know my video is coming up in searches.

Yes there's a noticeable difference in Sport+ (from outside the vehicle at least).

Only in gear changes and when not in manual mode. In sport+ the car holds gears longer and makes the changes more abrupt.

Garage List
Eco and Comfort mode : exhaust is quiet/refined.
Sport and Sport+ mode : exhaust is fruitier/louder and has much more 'burble' on the overrun.
