Street tolerable track pad
Requesting guidance for front and rear pad suggestions for my 2009 328i sedan. 255/40r17 hankook rs3 square setup and stock brakes. Car is an 3rd car that will see a few thousand street miles every year and a few track weekends a year. Need a pad choice for front and rear that can handle the track but tolerable for street. Dust and squeal are ok

For street/track, Porterfield R4S are good pads.
I've had them on several cars now, and I've never run out of brakes - although I've not tracked it. I have run them hard through the canyons (similar to tracking) and they held up great. They've got a wide operating range, so they work decently cold, and they don't get greasy as they get hot. |
