440i GC ordered :)

Hi guys

Since my F30 330d was stolen last month it has been a bit of a rollercoaster but some good news finally. Yesterday I placed an order for a 440i GC and I cannot wait. Spec was built with some of your recommendations and was more than I was intending but YOLO and is as follows:

BMW F36 440i Gran Coupe
Carbon Black Metallic
Black Dakota leather (must admit Ivory White wasn't for me)
M Sport Plus package
Interior Comfort Pack
Model designation deletion (side)
Electric sunroof
Ext mirrors folding, dimming
Brushed aluminium with black high gloss
Head Up Display
Speed Limit Display
Adaptive Cruise Control
Heated Steering Wheel
Exterior Parts in Body Colour

Got a great deal ~£9200 off list. Really are some great offers around at the moment.

What has made it even better is my dealer said they were about have a 440i built in the next day or so so I have nicked the build slot and should have it in 3-4 weeks

After the nightmare of the last few weeks something very exciting to look forward to.

Cheers

From my local dealer , Sycamores in Peterborough, who beat C2C and other broker quotes.

Fantastic - brilliant deal.

Nice interior choice :-)

Speed limit and mirrors are the two things I would have had on mine...but can live with what ive got.

And the closest you'll get to a M4GC...for now.

Well done, got there in the end; from your shortlist you've chosen the right model with definitely the right engine IMO! Very nice spec too and from the sounds of it a really good deal - thought the generous discounts were for stock cars delivered before the end of March but looks like you've done very well on a factory order! Hope it all goes smoothly from here on in, you'll be thanking those people who nicked your 330d come the middle of next month!!

Enjoy, you deserve to. The 4GC is the best looking car in the range IMHO, and a stunner in carbon black. I would have avoided ivory seats as well, having had light seats in my 5, a PITA to keep spotless and leather cleaners don't get denim dye out of the stitches

Dealer just called, car is already in production! Wow must of just slipped in last night. They were planning on ordering a 440i GC for the showroom but I nicked it. Just good timing I guess.

Will be in the UK in the first week of April!

I did same as you and nicked a build slot with my 435. Took 20 days from order to collection so hopefully you will be in yours soon

Did you compare the price to a 340 out of interest? I know there are bigger discounts on the 340 but wondered if the higher residuals meant there wasn't much in it.

Nice car and hope it helps in moving on from the theft of the old one.

Look forward to seeing the pictures and your comments on how it is.

Can anyone share how much better are these mystical residuals? I have just used BMW website and specced up a £48k GC and by doing 8k miles p/year residuals sit at high £16k. My 340i sits at low £16k for the same mileage, so there's maybe £500 difference between the two. Factor in that the 440i is probably £4k more expensive to buy to begin with and the discounts aren't as generous...
Am I seeing this wrong, if yes please correct me.
By my calculation that's at least £3k equivalent of monthly payments...

Think you've answered your own question there. The 440i will cost more, is it worth it is another question, and only that can be answered by the person buying the car.

Both cars are fantastic! well done gr4z! the theft will soon be a distant memory
