Brake shudder - warped discs are a myth!
Hi
Has anyone succesfully removed brake shudder by sanding their brake discs? The reason I ask is, that according to Brembo, there is no such thing as warped discs! However, brake pad material can be transferred unevenly which will give the same result. Edit: It is Stoptech that claims the above http://www.stoptech.com/technical-su...d-other-myths#

They are correct it's always uneven pad deposits. As soon as you feel it you need to bed them in. If not you can always get it out but you might have to use a more aggressive pad.
My dad ended up getting 100k+ on his original brakes by doing this...granted he drives normal.
