Attaching Fiberglass Flare to Plastic Fender

just wanted to get some advice/opinions. I purchased a similar kit for my track car and wanted to get some recommendations on what I can use to fasten the flares to my front fender. The Flares are FRP and the front fenders are plastic so im afraid that the rivets will crack either the fender, flare or both. I'm using rivnuts for the rear flare but im hesitant to do so for the front for reasons listed above.

Bump. I'd like to know too. I need wider wheels and rubber and would prefer to cut my factory e92 non M3 fenders and slap on some fenders instead of the labor involved with cutting, pulling, sanding, re-painting my factory fenders just to flare them out.

I believe, cutting your factory fenders will require cutting. And slap on some fenders will also require some molding, some sanding and some painting.

I was able to use nuts and bolts with some grommets and rubber washer in between for the front fender. Did not require molding or sanding but i did have to cut my oem body and fenders to accomodate the larger tires. Mine is used strictly as a track vehicle though
