Lease Deals

Just having a look at lease deals, some quite decent ones out there at the moment.

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/c...uto/70378.html

https://www.selectcarleasing.co.uk/c...uto/70258.html

Basically £325 for a 330d Touring and £316 for a 330d saloon.

Both 10k miles 9 months deposit over 24 months.

your headline figures don't appear to include the 9 month deposit x £320 deposit which raises the effective monthly cost to £447.13 (£10,731.27 for term)

not making any comment on whether this is a good deal or not, simply clarifying the actual cost

Erm yes I do quote 9 months deposit.

Maybe I need to use bold.

I assume you used same for PCP quotes as well?

No need to use bold.
I saw you quoted the term and no of months the deposit required.

The figures you quoted look attractive, but are only half the story. The actual cost includes the deposit which raises the effrctive monthly cost.

As I said, incase you missed it, that I was making no comment on whether it was a good deal or not.

I've no idea what the relevance of the PCP is? I never mentioned it

The PCP bit comes in as people go 'I am paying £400 a month pcp'

However, no one ever seems to add the deposit back on to the PCP monthlies lol.

even on minimal (3month) deposits the costs are pretty good, 335d Touring for 1200quid down and 400 a month - seems pretty decent to me!

looking at something for the wife, and they have the Merc GLA for 979 deposit and 326 a month. Mercedes want another £3300 to do the same deal with them directly.

That 330d touring is good. I got told it was about £6 a month for every 250 quid you add as extras. So if you specced pro nav and m sport plus thats still just under 400 a month.

When Select Contracts pulled out of my 330e order, then offered me the 330d M Sport for £243 pm on a 10k 9 month deposit.

I'm being quoted 447pm with a £500 deposit on a 320i Xdrive touring, sport auto, comfort package, 403M alloys, pdc front and rear... From the local dealers...

Sounds like I'm getting done... I'd pay that for a 335D with the extras above! Would that be unreasonable?

Is that on pcp? Yes you should be able to get into 335d or a 340I for that sort of money.

You can easily get in a 6 pot for that amount. Not the same dealer selling this is it? Crazy money.

No,it's a brand new 320i.

They advertise a 335D starting at £499 with £500 deposit..

Has anyone any recommendations for which companies / dealers I should speak to for a 330/335 for around £450 a month with no more than a £500 deposit?

Appreciate the help so far! 👍🏻v

Good deals, might be better with the 3 year option as it's slightly less per year taking the deposit into account. Also spreads the options cost over an extra 12 months and gives you their benefits for longer, but that depends on how often you want to chop cars.

I used select for my 335D. Base price was £342 inc VAT on a 6+24 10K miles. So deposit of abt £2k, they waived the admin fee due their poor service but once the car was on the drive I have nothing to do with them.

You have to weigh up pros and cons of PCP vs Lease but for me I'm happier someone else owning it, should it break. Also you know your costs and don't have the trade-in battle.

Also you need to spec it up and you will pay in full for every extra over the lease. i.e. optional extra residuals are 0% over 2 years This is where the 335 helps as it comes with paint and sensors F+R, sport auto and x-drive. Just add headlights and a decent (pro) media!!

Why not give Select a ring.
