Car Cleaning - Why? God I Ache lol

I had not touched my car for last 6 months, maybe 7 actually.

So today decided to give it a good wash and strip it back, then bung some SNH on it.

Well bugger me I am sure I am getting too old for this shit lol.

Used some supernatural shampoo as it's quite demanding on wax etc.

Then some Supernatural micro prime and some Gtechniq panel wipe for good measure.

Then layering of SNH (might put another on tomorrow).

Well it's nice and shiny and looks great.

No pics I can't be arsed and my legs n fingers ache lol.

This cold Stella is rather nice though

I think next car I am just going to pay some fucker.

Wheels to wax and glass to do tomorrow.

Just did the same thing! - although I find sealants best on AW. Wash, tardis, iron out, wash again, touch-up stone chips with a cocktail stick, coat of AF tough prep and the bloody rain beat me, so AF tough coat sealant to do tomorrow. Weather permitting.......
Might put summer wheels on tomorrow too, but knowing my luck it will snow next week (in Scotland). Now, where's my beer?

No rain here this weekend

My neighbours wife about 68, washed her car, took her 40 minutes.

Then went shopping and did garden and I was still doing the car lol.

I did however show her my new pot of rim wax.

I bet that impressed her....lol. My wife can't understand how it can take two days to 'wash' the car! My neighbours saw me polishing the inside of my exhaust - they really think I've lost it (maybe they're right).

Yes now the weathers getting better I've spent the past couple of weekends polishing up and waxing the wheels, removing the little black specks from the bottom sections of all the paintwork using clay, actually not too bad considering the crap I driven through up here over winter. Arms are feeling it though!

My car is off being detailed at the moment - get it back Monday or Tuesday....

As penance, and because I can't go anywhere I've spent the day cleaning and refilling the hot tub.

I also ache, cold when the sun goes in.

Just cleaned the 330d for the first time in 6-weeks since I last washed it. Wife can't understand why I spent 3-hrs on the car!
Still not cleaned the inside yet as she was moaning to go out shopping.

I spent 3 hours cleaning the inside and outside yesterday and another 3 hours today waxing the outside. The Mrs said you only cleaned it yesterday, why you cleaning it again...I didn't try to explain before she said, what about all the other house jobs you've got to do....!

I spent the day top dressing the lawn and jet washing the patio , path and driveway.
The Kranzle had a good few hrs of use.
If the wife puts out tonight and I get a bacon sandwich in the morning I will be giving her. A3 to wash tomorrow morning for the first time in 8 weeks it's rancid.

Sorry for stupid question....but does your wife "have to put out" to you for her car to get cleaned? Just wondered if she gets it cleaned if it's another guy?

(Apologies, couldn't resist!).

I did the same today. Car was filthy! Really needs the DA taken to it with the Menzerna, but that will have to wait until summer!

Nope just that the rest of us know hoe proud Brigand is of his rim

Takes great care of it and never misses an opprtunity to show his shiny rim to anyone who shows any interest in it

I did mine today but as it's new and freshly waxed it's a doddle, the f10 was a ball ache to clean though far too big for my liking.
