I thought these forums can ban IP addresses or address ranges so it doesn't matter how many aliases your create?

Or I guess you could pay for a service that changes your IP completely so it appears that you are connecting from a different country ..... but a bit extreme just to get to the forum?

Trouble with that is most people are on a dynamic IP. If you ban a range you'll block other customers of that ISP who are nothing to do with that user. Then you've got public and workplace networks too...

It's a shame that the mods go to such lengths to keep him away. He's hardly a threat to national security and whilst I admit some of his posts were a bit near the knuckle ( or probably the majority if them) he was excellent value from an entertainment point if view.

Clearly the thought police see it differently which is probably the result of a sense of humour bypass.
