Best tune for the money "not jb4"
Well my jb4 was causing me world's of problems over the last 6 months, only had about 4000 miles on the unit, and since burger won't replace or warrantyou it any way due to me not having proof of purchase.. inin stead of buying a used one that might just doesn't again I'm going to just go with a different company. So anyone mind giving their opinion and basic run down on their tunes ?

Yes but ive looked through 4 pages out of 17, and 95% are saying thanks for the post. Don't quite have the time to read through the other 13 at the moment. And again it is good info and I appreciate you posting it, but if you don't have anymore input other than that no reason to keep posting right?

I am not at all a versed in all the tech data but I certainly do enjoy a car that performs as it should. Did a ton of research and ended up with MHD. Tons of additional power and very drivable. I am never gonna run Meth just do not need that much power for AX or de for that matter.
Easy squeeze lemon peezy to install , if you have a compatable android device great if not total package with gauges and data looks like this: loging hardware about 100-125 depending on choice, platform about 150 -220 depending on your choices, either way great results on the cheep. As an aside had my mechanic do coilovers for me just last night, he also has a 335 his on Cobb base tune mine on stage 1 93 octain as I have good fuel Sunoco by my house. His opinion was MHD pulled stronger and was more linier. Both cars recently serviced to accept the tune, which is very highly recommended. No digs on the others just my preference. All the best and keep the shiny side up. |

I have a Maxchip Pro on both of my 2011 335d cars now, and it's pretty darn good. They claim +95 bhp and +110 nM
Dyno from their website: https://maxchip.de/en/shop/chiptunin...286-ps-210-kw/ I have no good way to measure, but "butt dyno" seems to have these things working great. I paid $221 and $238 (Euro value varied) and that's hard to beat for that price. One day I might pay $150/hr for some dyno testing and confirm what I really got. You got a link? Ive been researching MHD and im really curious now, seems amazing just cant find any links on which maps i should get etc.
I used to run Map 5 or 2 on Jb4 ALSO been running a jb4 but it DIED so i dont have it installed anymore, is this as effective without a jb4?

MHD , FOR THE MONEY IT'S A NIGHT AND DAY THING!
However if you don't want your car throwing codes do upgrades first! Front mount intercooler ,aka FMIC , charge pipe + blow off valve , aka CP+BOV, upgrade your stock positive crank valve , aka PCV VALVE ( SEARCH Rob Beck PCV valve for n54 ) . You also want to an oil catch can , aka OCC. ( I recommend Mishomoto catch can ) . Last but not the least , dual cone intakes or some form of intake upgrade and high flow muffler upgrades! I spoke to wedge performance and he said down pipes are not very necessary! But since the car is turbo eliminating back pressure from stock exhaust is a plus for anow upgraded flow. I've done all the above on my car and I'm now pushing a very exceptional amount of power and I have no trouble codes whatsoever! Set the stage before you tune , save yourself the headaches! |

I would love to mod my 2011 335, but reading threads like this makes me content just leaving it bone stock the way it is.
Im in NE PA anyway, id have to look for the nearest reputable shop that would make me consider ...
