I am looking at the GC in Carbon Black or Mineral Grey - was going to keep them the standard colour. Do you think they look better painted the same body colour?

I don't know really

Just thought it may look like two different blacks against the CB paintwork. I've had two CB demonstrators and have to say I didn't notice the difference on those.

Carbon black is sweet agreed. Might be tempted with Mineral Grey then the air vents might look good in original colour...not sure really.

Yes on some colours its good to give a contrast rather than being all body coloured, grey being one of then IMO.

How sparkly are those wheels!! Well done sir

Feel guilty that my 403s aren't getting much love now.

Ordered them in body colour by accident on the MG and have to say it looks cleaner. I have the 442m Orbit Greys too so the car is very tonal. I think the black looks a bit cheap personally! Fits well with white though in my opinion.

Exactly the same as mine apart from 442Ms in ferric grey (one of the first UK built cars in 2013).

High gloss black side vents look like seals' ears when car is sparkly clean and polished!

Richtw.

Those are some stunning alloys.

I'm a big fan of the contrast effect, so in your case I'd go for the body colour as the black trim doesn't really stand out.
