Help! First Post - Newb 330xi Questions

Hello all! I'll start off by saying that I've searched, and have not come across an answer for my question exactly...so if you've got a link to a duplicate post, just paste below and save us all.

I'm looking at a 2006 330xi with 157k on the clock, and need your guys opinions.

Wont be my only car, or even necessarily my DD. I'd consider myself mechanically inclined, but I don't have an engine hoist, lift in my garage, or an unlimited bank account, so prefer to keep my wrenching to more simple jobs like oil changes and tire rotations.
If/When I write this guy a check, I'll officially own the highest mileage car I've ever owned, so what am I getting myself into?

TIA

From the CL post:

- Power tilt or slide Sunroof
- Navigation w/Satellite Radio
- Heated 12-way Power Seats
- Keyless Entry
- Automatic Dual Zone Climate Control
- Rain Sensing Wipers
- Power windows, Locks, Brakes, Steering.
- LED Puddle lights

- Adaptive Cruise Control with automatic distance control
- Automatic HID headlamps
- Traction control, Anti Lock Brakes, Stability Control, Hill Descent control
- Heated, Automatic Dimming, Folding Mirrors
- BMW winter floor mats in addition to standard carpet mats
- Refrigerated/cooled center console
- Programmable Garage Door Opener
- Compass
- Rear Parking Sensors
- Hardwired for Valentine 1 radar detector
- 158,xxx miles.

Recent Maintenance:
- Brand New Tires (2-10-2016)
- New Water Pump
- New Rear shocks
- New Thermostat
- New Ignition Coils
- Fresh Oil Change on 2-19-2016 (Mobil 1 5w30 Synthetic)
- Recently Replaced Battery

We have owned this car since 2010, and it has been a great car overall, and has been quite reliable. We bought it as a BMW certified vehicle, and have done all routine maintenance since we have owned it. The only non-stock item on the car is a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust (factory appearing, slightly louder than stock, nice sound... my wife loves it. Oil changes have been every 5,000 miles and only synthetic oil has been used (Castrol Syntec or Mobil 1). The car shows very well for its age, and needs nothing mechanically. Starts, runs, and drives well. Paint is shiny and in good condition. No rust. Averages about 24.5mpg in mixed city/highway driving.

The parts and service on these cars is not cheap and thats quite a few miles. If it was me and I was looking for something around 8500, I'd probably get something else. Maybe an older BMW with less miles. Don't get me wrong, the E90 is a solid car but those miles scare me and some things will require the dealer so fixing it will come at a cost.

Some input on 330 reliability here.

Thanks! At $7,900 with a set of winter tires, I feel like I'm getting a good deal on the car.

I guess a little maintenance here and there, even at the dealership, doesn't scare me too much. I really just like the look of the car!

Unless someone can talk me out of it before 6 tonight, I'll be driving this beast tomorrow. If it blows up, I'll part it out on here I guess!
