Welded Diff please read

I was trying to find answer to maybe resolve or simplify problems when it comes to welded diff, so my questions are:

1. Do all 2005-06 E-90 with 320,325,330,328,335 petrol/diesel etc engines have the same open diff?

Because if they do, it would be easy to find 2005 or 2006 car at the junkyard with not welded diff and just swap parts

2. To get my Quife LSD installed all I need from my OEM open diff is crown wheel correct? Or are there any other parts that have be transferred to?

please respond and let me know
