Value before plate change
Been offered a stock car to register this month (further £250 off and maybe some diff on p/x) , but just wondering what will the effect be come trade in time (lot more than £250 difference ?)
I know others have / are waiting to get after 1st March.

Depends if you want to wait really. For the sake of a couple of weeks I would wait unless they make it really worth your while. They clearly want to add it to this sales period so go back and ask for more maybe?

Just go on a trade in website eg wbac and price up a car simillar to yours at 1 yr old one before Reg change and then just after to see the difference.
Imagine it will be in excess of £250.

Ideally ask for 1k discount.
In real life if you were buying two cars identical second hand with one a 13 plate and another a 63 there would be max of 500 -750 of a difference
