Aftermarket Pre-LCI Bumper vs LCI

I have an e90 335i xdrive LCI and was wondering if aftermarket pre-lci bumpers (mtech, m3 rep, etc) would fit the LCI. I remember seeing that the tabs for a pre-LCI to LCI conversion were possible but haven't seen anyone do the other way around. Reason I ask is because pre-LCI bumpers are consistently cheaper than LCI for the same exact bumper basically. Can anyone shed some light on an LCI using a pre-LCI aftermarket bumper?

Hood and grilles are different on LCI.

The mounting points on the bumpers are the same, but unless you change out the hood and grilles it will look whack

I was only concerned if the bumper tabs were different because I have an LCI

You have lci, but to use a pre-lci bumper you'd also need to change to a pre-lci hood and kidney grills

Ahh I got you. I thought the bumpers only came up to the bottom of the headlights and anything above the headlights was fair game
