i dont think it'd rape it, but i think it's a tick quicker to 60mph. 1/4 mile not sure what the specs are. 335 with sstt would beat an STI and rape the wrx imo.
a couple weeks ago a wrx and i both floored it from a rolling start and it was no contest. I didn't even floor it to the point where it "clicks". |

I think the 335 is faster than the WRX and STI. The evo 9 on the other hand.. the 335 may lose. The 335 should win against the new evo if it's just a straight line.

0-60 and 1/4 mile is a drivers race....and you have to be willing to beat on the car to get a good launch. Especially on the wrx/sti/awd. But otherwise stock wrx typically gets mid 5's 0-60 and reflashed wrx high 4's-low 5's.

My 335 is quicker than my stage 2 Legact GT..but not by much.
You should kill the WRX and have a good run with an STI..they might outlaunch you to 30 if they know what they're doing, and you'll reel em back in. |

Going by published numbers the 335 should beat both the WRX ans Sti
The WRX easily, the STi will be much more of a fight. Depends on the launch.

I liked the GT (sold it) it was bulletproof reliable and a fun car. I think as far as a performance sedan it falls short..semi-floaty suspension, crap tires, weird clutch. Sometimes I feel like the car is a rip and sometimes i thought it was a bargain. Driving my 335 really proved to me how much better the bmw is (and you pay for it)..but the LGT is no doubt a real good car. The LGT quality is up a few notches from the WRX. Personally I'd go with the LGT..much more comfy and just as fast. Definitely drive both though.

No, I had an 05 STI for three year prior to my 335i both are very fast. I have the Turbo Tuner on my 335i and I had the COBB Stage 2 tuner and turbo back exhaust on my STI. The 335i with the Turbo Tuner would take my STI no problem in a drag race, on the track the STI might edge out my 335i.

...and nothing is slower than dr325i's 325i. Did you order your E92 M3? Please tell me if/when you get one, so we can line up together...at Moroso of course.

Stock for stock, the 335i is quicker than both in a straight line. STi has an advantage in traction off the line, but unless the STi driver is a pro, he will probably be reeled in and passed by the time the 1/4th comes around.

It's like there are 13 year olds on here all of a sudden. Google "0-60 times" click on one of the first 100 links and compare the two. It's really not hard!
Grab a road&track, they have 0-60 times in the back. I mean come on, one is almost a full second faster then the other. |
