I'll bet they'd have no prob with any OEM wheel, just call your dealer and ask.

You could be penalized. Other than normal wear and tear you have to return the car in the same condition and with all of the equipment you got it from the dealer to begin with.
If you want different wheels you can have those written in to the lease as well. Otherwise it might be a smart idea to keep the wheels you got with the car and then put them back on when you go to turn it in just to be safe. |

It's really up to the dealer.
I was going to put aftermarket lumbar with non-BMW buttons on the car and they said that'd be fine.

They should know... Since the difference in price between those rims is somewhere around $1000 (I think). Your supposed to return the car with the same equipment (including TYPE of tires) that you bought it with.. Now if you ADD value to the car, then I'm sure they would have no problem with it, but REMOVING value is another thing..
That all being said there is probally a chance that they wouldn't "notice" if you go and lease another BMW

its really not a bad idea. as long as you have the money set aside just incase. my first 3 and only 3 cars have been leases, and the last two were jokes about returning them. I would say its VERY possible that they wouldnt notice. When my acura was inspected a 3rd party dude came to my work to check it out. He wasnt an acura trained professional. he looks at 1,009 cars every day.
Like i said, just be perpared just incase.
