LED Foglights Advice

I really did not like the fact that the foglights are yellow...

So i finally found the right led's on the right you have a little bit of flare but on the left you can see it is almost the same colour.

The only problem is the canbus I bought canbus"misleaders" and they work but they get bloody hot, so I really don't want to put them behind the bumper.

Does anyone know how to fix this. The dealer can't set the check off

I tried the GP Thunders both 75 and 85k, but it did not get close enough for me with the led headlights, and I did not like the blue pit when they are off. No canbus problems are very nice though

This one looks off and on perfect for me... But canbus-warning is annoying, does anyone know other led H8 who doesn't give problems or a good canbus misleader who don't get hot

Thank you, Remmm

You can only imagine how frustrating it is to go through this, via online ordering and airmail postage from somewhere 16,000 kilometres away, only to discover they're not right

I still haven't fixed my foglights yet. I still get a warning.... I am thinking about making the wires of the cancellors longer, so i can give them a good place beneath the bonnet where they can get hot

Has anyone resolved this problem effectively, without CANBUS errors yet? With the fog season upon us, I'd like to be rid of those yellow-ish globes.

Oddly enough one of the things I like about the X1 is that it doesn't come with white LED foglights.

Personally, I prefer a nice yellow light for the fogs.

Now if BMW can get future light clusters to change from white to yellow that would be great.

How hard is it to change these bulbs ? can someone post pics/ directions?

What about these? They are very popular with other cars? Do you think they would work for us

Check your manual p.222 for instructions and illustrations. It's very easy. Release the spring, pull the whole thing out, plug in the new lamp and push back in until it locks into place.

No clue if the product you'e linked works or not.

There has been comments re the Fog Lights on another thread and a picture

I've bought some of these myself to replace the fogs when I take delivery of my car in a few weeks. Stupid l didn't research re the heat they emit though if anyone has any idea/reviews on here and also if they're legal in the UK?

Thanks
