Thumbs down Wrapping

I wanted to get an opinion on wrapping, specifically the kidney grilles and the roof, but any other places too. I'm think of a glossy black roof and black kidneys on my EB2
F36 but I'm undecided. I think a bit of chrome on the front adds something and not sure if the roof would look too boy racer.

Black gloss roof wrap would be nice and I don't know if you seen the gloss black grill but it definitely makes that stock chrome look like a joke

Wrap both in gloss black and you won't regret it. I would definitely do it.

A lot will depend on the colour of your car.

While black grills go with pretty much any colour.

The roof could look totally wank with some colours.

Wrapping is much cheaper and is a pretty simple diy. And to be honest, you probably wouldn't be able to tell is wrap unless you examine it cosely, like 3-6 inches close. It's a great way to get the black grilles at a fraction of the cost.

Imo the blk roof definitely looks better on some cars than others. But I think it looks great on most any colour. It even looks great on a mineral grey car. Just that it definitely looks better on cars that provide more colour contrast.

I'm getting EB2 in March. Would love to know if you have it done, please post some pics and also the cost of getting the roof wrapped if possible.

How much did that cost you if you don't mind my asking? And where did you have it done from?

The roof wrap cost me £150, the guy took all day to do it. Service was ok, he was a bit slow but its a great finish. I got it done in East London, link is below.

I know, wrapped my e85's before they released aftermarket black ones!

Thanks for all the replies. Black roof on white I think is awesome, I'm just not sure on EB2. I think it would look good but I'm not sure I want to show up to client sites with an even sportier looking car.

The kidney grilles I'm much more inclined to do, I just think the bit of chrome is classy though. Might get wife to mock car up in photoshop and I'll post comparison shots on here.

wrap the roof, it will look smart.

the grills you can buy gloss or matt for less than £50. and they will last. trust me wrapping them looks shoddy and will cost you far more than £50 in vinyl, electricity and time. and youl need to wrap them again when the summer heat coming shrinks the crap out of it.

eBay aftermarket jobs, but I'd rather get OEM ones for £80.

Personally I think EB2 with black glossy roof would look shit / very chav.

It works with white.
