f30 ac plug

hi im trying to get this plug out have tried everything but it only moves 2mm then stops ,im afraid if i keep going ill pull a wire out or worse break it.i have checked on the forum for diy and found i video,in it he just pulls out by the wires.,it is the plug behind the ac controls in the dash cheers

Have you tried pushing against the locked tab with a sharp object and slide out?

lol thats butchered hard. that is ringing a bell. yeah i think u can get a precision flat head screw driver, slide it where the tab is (knight saber pointed it out), then lift. That should clear the tab and then pull the plug with the other hand

Mod done just pulled as hard as i could just popped out mod now done all good

i know was pissed off a bit didnt want to do that much damage but would not budge anyway all good .also added a little bling too lol
