I would think 6-8 weeks more. It will take your car about a week or two to get to the port and then onto a boat. Then I believe its 45 days or so to get to cali. I could be wrong.

3-4 weeks on a boat the rest depends on timing of transportation to the port and the boat schedule

Lol in 8 weeks the boat could get to Port Hueneme from Germany and make it all the way back to Bremerhaven.

Lol I didn't say it would be 8 weeks on the water.

It's going to be about another couple days before his car out of production and then to the port, that's about a week. Then 1-2 weeks waiting for the next ship. Then 3-4 weeks travel time, then a week to leave port, inspection and transport to dealer. So yes, 6-8 weeks before he gets the car, not travel time.

Why do I feel like 340 owners got their cars in or under 8 weeks? Mine is taking forever. Placed my order January 1st and is currently waiting to be placed on a boat.

Is your built in Germany or SA? If its build in Germany, roughly 4-6 weeks. SA build will take longer like 8 weeks. Mine was built in SA. I order in beginning of Aug, took a week to built, sent to port - took a month for a boat like mid Sept (boat came straight to US, didn't stop in Germany - SA has 2 boats a month - nonstop & stops in Germany) and it arrived in NJ early Oct. I pick it up late Oct. Hope this helps.

Built in Germany... Just heard back from him, apparently "April", but maybe next month i'll have a production number or something...

Not particularly impressed with this salesman

If he doesn't have a production number, he wouldn't know where its built.

You need to start calling other dealers and having them match that deal, or do better if they can give you a production number that day.

I've read too many stories on here of people being promised a number but the dealer just drags them on. Until you have that production number with your name attached to it, he basically has sold you air. No #, no deal.

I'm in the same situation with OP. Placed order in December for January build (SA plant), salesman says end of March/beginning of April.

Do I harass him for the product number? Once I have the product number where can I track it?
