Why would you put money down on a car you haven't even seen a brochure on?

Well, if I don't go ahead with the order I get my reservation fee back! If I like the car then I'd be quite high in the pecking order when they start to drop....!

to be honest I'm trying to get a dealer in germany to provide a UK spec car maybe save a few weeks on the waiting time compared to a dealer over here! |

I'm hoping the cabrio comes out as a 335 Ci; I'm thinking of calling my dealer and see if I can be up there to get one of the first ones. With all the other new cars coming out in the next few months, like the Lexuses, new MB S Class, it's unbelievable that there's been no official word on the coupes/cabrios from Munich. There are even G35 replacement photos in all the car mags.

As much as I'm interested in the 335Ci, I'm waiting for the test drive, then making my decision.
By then, there will be more competition, like the IS350 coupe, or even a Scion tC with a 300bHp engine under $20K!

merc are now also doing the 3.5L into the C-Class & CLK
CLK 350 Sport Coupe looks great but the Cab looks kinda feminine (IMO)! I just have an image in my head of my ideal 335Ci - already modded too (AC Schnizter twin oval exhaust, AC 19"'s (Racing Wheel Type III), Blacked out kindey's & grill, fire coloured angel eyes) |
