Do Euros need diesel exhaust fluid?
Hi All,
We're now trading our US spec X5 35d for an Euro spec 330d wagon. Does anyone know if the 330d will need def like the US diesel did? Thanks! Jeremy Vicenza, It |

I don't think so if I read that correctly, but with all this VW stuff, it wouldn't surprise me if they don't add it in the future. |

Whats the purpose for that spec? Lower sulphuric ingredients? Never heard of this before, but it sounds like the German E10 and E5 gasoline, where the part of bio-rapeseed is higher and the most unliked fuel into my country.

AdBlue converts harmful NOx from your diesel vehicle exhaust into harmless nitrogen and steam, therefore considerably reducing the emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) that are a major source of atmospheric pollution and that lead to smog in urban centres.
