Holiday advise

I'm looking to book a holiday for early March this year.

Just me and the girlfriend.

I was thinking Canary Islands but are they warm enough that time of the year?

What are other people's suggestions?

Canary Islands are always warm, for March Feb, go for it. Or Florida if it's a 2 week break.

I've rebooked Florida again for May can't wait, 139 more sleeps!

What do you want from holiday?

Canaries not bad value and always warm - but two weeks in any one of them and sightseeing becomes hard, but great for relaxing resort break. Have been there a fair bit.

Try Cuba or St Martin.

Both worth a visit.

Canaries will be warm. Puerto de la cruz in Tenerife more traditional less tacky ?1 a beer cafes to cater for Brits abroad. Volcanic beach not great though.

In the South, Los Christianos very dated now. Playa de las Americas is better now that it has been tidied up but still a few Brits abroad cafes! Costa Adeje pretty nice and a load of good hotels an restaurants.

There isnt much sight seeing in the Canaries so if it's a cultural holiday you are after, look elsewhere.

A lot depends on budget and how long you want to travel distance/time wise

More equatorial you go the hotter you will get

Wherever you go ENJOY IT !!!!

Some forum members would be more at home on a Ford or Vauxhall forum.

Even, I hate to say... The Peugeot forum, my god there are no standards on that forum.

Cape Verde, nearer the equator than canaries, about 5.5 hour flight time, be nice and toasty!

Playa Blanca on Lanzarote is a great resort mate. The Lanzarote Princess is the hotel you want.

Yes it would be ok been to most of these places this time of year. canaries are around 28 degrees north similar to Orlando, Dubai and Sharm el Sheik (prob not great location now)

I did like Tenerife Senatori..

Or if you want the sun high in the sky the Caribbean is hard to beat, I recall Tobago that time of year roasting.

That's not precisely grammar, it's a respect clause.

How much does he value his girlfriend?

In this case he considers himself more important.

We've got to have some distractions now that NTG is 'missing in action' so let's bring on the grammar and spelling Mutaween and restore some order to the galaxy. I'm more surprised though, that there is a Peugeot forum.

My favourites are the usual suspects; they're, their and there.

Me & the Mrs have been here three times in as many years http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/holiday...rincess-007289

Would be 26+ in March but windy. As others say though sod all in the Canaries to see really but good weather and only 4 hours away.

Plus, if you like nudity then you have either the segregated pool area at the hotel or beaches just 2 mins walk from your room

Oh how I miss NTG...

My biggest gripe is the use of an apostrophe when it's not needed. Just because something ends in an 's', you don't need a bloody apostrophe!

So tyre's, run flat's, winter's (when referring to winter tyres) all very wrong!!
